Endometrial Receptivity Analysis(ERA)
procedureDefinition
A genetic test of endometrial tissue used to identify the optimal timing for embryo transfer based on individual endometrial receptivity.
In IVF Treatment
ERA involves a mock transfer cycle with a biopsy taken at the standard transfer window. The results indicate whether the window of implantation is standard, pre-receptive, or post-receptive, allowing the physician to personalize the transfer timing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Should I do an ERA test?
ERA is generally recommended after one or more failed transfers with good-quality euploid embryos when no other cause is found. For a first transfer, most clinics do not routinely require it.
