Genetic testing of embryos for chromosomal structural rearrangements such as translocations or inversions.
In IVF Treatment
PGT-SR is recommended when one or both parents carry a chromosomal rearrangement (such as a balanced translocation) that can lead to miscarriage or affected pregnancies. It allows selection of balanced or normal embryos for transfer.
