Intralipids

medication

Definition

An intravenous fat emulsion sometimes used as an immunological treatment in IVF for patients with suspected natural killer (NK) cell activity affecting implantation.

In IVF Treatment

Intralipid infusions are a controversial adjunct treatment in IVF. While some clinics use them for patients with unexplained implantation failure or elevated NK cells, robust evidence for routine use remains limited.
