Infertility caused by abnormalities of the uterus, including fibroids, polyps, adhesions (Asherman syndrome), or uterine septum.
In IVF Treatment
Most uterine factors are correctable through hysteroscopy before IVF. Severe Asherman syndrome (intrauterine adhesions) or uterine anomalies may require gestational carrier IVF in some cases.
